Lynn Becker has decades of domestic and international experience as a landman, entrepreneur and executive in resource exploration, development, and management, including over fifteen years exclusively in Indian Country in the U.S. and Canada. From his humble beginning with Mobil Oil in 1978 working in land administration with oil and gas, coal, uranium and geothermal assets, he has gained extensive experience in acquisitions, mergers, divestitures, project management, establishing new companies and land resource operations. During the 1980’s and 90’s as a professional landman, he was involved with closing several billion dollars’ worth of transactions globally for PetroLewis Corp. (drilling funds & royalty trust $3B), Fluor Oil & Gas Corp., SONAT Exploration (acquisitions $1.5B), Louis-Dreyfus Energy, Fidelity Investments Management Ltd. (Sec. 29 tax credit acquisitions $.75B), Westport Oil & Gas Ltd., and Alberta Energy-EnCana Oil and Gas Corp. (mergers & acquisitions $3.24B).
